Want to know why intelligent CITIZENS dont like cops?

The video was a hack job. Not that those things did not happen, but the video does not show what preceded most of those incidents.
Also, I stopped watching the video when it got to the theme of these attacks being racist - directed towards blacks. We had just watched video of black cops beating suspects.
Are all cops good - of course not. I've personally known a few of those power-hungry little richards that thinks the badge is a crown. I've known a lot more that are good guys, working in a dangerous and desensitizing job.
These guys (and gals) are people - just like *some* of the posters here........ You might try thinking of them like that.
I can fully understand how even the good cops have bad days, when you consider what they have had to put up with through their careers.
Things like radar traps are policy decisions made by city officials - they are the ones you need to complain to about that.
Have a nice day, and next time you need help, call the pizza guy. (Heh - they might even get there faster, but they won't chase the bad guy!).

Nope that's me, but I'm going with ghost. What do you do other than bash cops? Sounds like someone couldn't pass a test, I could be wrong. I'll give a cop all the respect he deserves when he/she deserves it, but I'm a little curious when I see posts that say"every time I get stopped", if you get stopped that much maybe your t he problem.

Youre one of those cops that wont let a guy walk off without showing id, I can tell. Everyone is guilty in your eyes. But since youre so persistent. Im an AWS/CSWIP certified welder. i play with pieces of steel and iron at high temperaturesto make a living.. But its honest and i no longer have to be obedient to something i do not believe in. How many times have you used force that you would have been embarrassed by to have seen recorded? If you have been a cop long enough, you have done things youre not proud of.

No, sorry I do not like having to be detained while going to the grocery store. I do not like law enforcement using things like these as a "show of force" to fear monger the citizenry. I do not like blatant infringments of our basic civil rights.
Its quite ridiculous that I remotely have to defend these ideas, especially on a pro 2nd forum that is based out of a "free state".

well you don't own the road and have zero "rights" to drive. It is a privilege given by the state. As for the show of force, how much damage was done when you were pulled out at gun point? If just IF there had been a convicted pedophile behind you on his way to your house would that show of force been enough to send him home to jerk of to pics of kids on Facebook? Go to California and see what a smart++s mouth on the side of the road gets You. Leo has every right to run a dog, and check your license but zero rights to ask for consent to search unless incident to arrest or with a warrant. Technically they aren't even allowed to ask unless you"feel" free to leave without further incident. So just say no. And for Christ's sake do something other than whine to everyone about how scared and pitiful you feel.
