Want to know why intelligent CITIZENS dont like cops?

3-1/2 yrs ga doc in a high max, 7 yrs road as patrol, srt, traffic network gohs officer. 300+ DUI arrest convictions, drug recognition expert, over 2000 hrs POST training including instructor certs. I'm out now but I'm qualified to critique a stop or reconstruct an accident level 1&2 . And I've scraped a lot of guys like you up after a rollover or boys nite out. And I've delived death notices to families of victims who never saw it coming from guys to sorry to obey bs traffic laws. I'll trade power hungry cops for anti establishment punks like you anyday.
so youre now unemployed? .... you are the reason people despise officers. congrats, youre a good dog.(or were) because im pretty sure youre unemployed. and even with with all these credentials youre so proud of... YOU DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. you were obedient. obedient to generate revenue.

It has nothing to do with nazi. It has to do with rights. I dont understand how one can swear to uphold the constitution yet totally ignore the 4th amendment. Or any of the constitution for that matter.
Im not trying to stir up a $#!+ storm or be disrespectful at all to you personally or any LEO's. Just am honestly curious, from an LEO POV, how is it that you feel random roadblocks are constitutional?

4th Amendment protects you from unreasonable searches and seizures. How does that equate to checkpoints? Officers don't stop and search your vehicle or you without probable cause. Same as a traffic stop.

For a roadblock to be in violation of the 4th amendment it must be unreasonable not simply inconvenient.

But how is it that these checkpoints are considered reasonable?? Is the question I should have asked I guess.

http://criminal.lawyers.com/traffic-violations/Traffic-Stops-and-Roadblocks.html

I have read that and understand all of what they say. Yet there are certain things that must be done to set up these roadblocks, however, quite a few are disregarded. I have yet to see a PSA go out telling when and where they will be.

that's pretty "grey area" in my book. I ask earlier and nobody answered. If cops are here for the best interest of the public... Why are they doing roadblocks and and sitting 1/4 mi down the road waiting on people dui instead of standing outside of bars and places like that with a breathalyzer checking people before they drive? abbskkan I would love to hear your twisted jacked up cop view on this.

High density of previous DUI incidents in the area? BOLO issued? It could be many things.....most of which can be inconvenient but certainly aren't unreasonable.

You can't possibly be this silly......you are really proposing that LE time is better spent arresting people for crimes they "might" commit than ones they are actually in the process of committing?
