Can't fix stupid, no one is saying that there isn't abuse out there. Apparently if you don't agree that 100% of cops are bad your part of the problem. Ok I AM part of the problem then.

So where are all the threads about the day care workers who molest children? What about the pilots that fly drunk? The dentist that feels up your wife while she is under? The countless other professions that cause harm to people everyday? Where are all of those threads at, on this GUN Swapping forum? And don't try bringing up the excuse that these other professions don't have "power" over others. Tell that to the young girl who lives with being molested by someone she trusted, or the woman who fears going to a doctor for the rest of her life.

You want to jump up and down on your soap box pumping your fist about the injustices of all the bad LEO and your resolution to the problem is to come on an internet forum and bang away at your keyboard. Type in all caps so everyone knows just how outraged you are at the "problem", yet you have done nothing to try and fix the issue that you are so upset about. Typical.

There's plenty of good cops out there. Plenty of bad ones too. No way to tell who is who

They are taught to suspect everyone. And that everyone is guilty of something just haven't been caught yet

You have to act like every cop is mere seconds away from roid rage and can't wait to treat you like Rodney king

Here's some analogys for you

You should treat them like you would an IRS agent. Since thats what most cops are about nowadays. Traffic stops and Moving $$ from your pocket to their depts pocket

Don't do anything to bring attention to yourself and if you do get audited have your paperwork in order. Be polite but don't say "Sir" a million times. Sounds like you're kissing up to em which either makes em wonder why you're afraid of em or strokes their ego. Neither of which you wanna do

Don't let em get the idea that you're scared of them or have anything to hide. But never NEVER give them permission to search your vehicle

They are like dogs. Some of em are smart. Some are not so smart. Some are friendly. Some are not friendly. ALL are dangerous when they are in large groups or packs or if they think you are scared of them or if they feel threatened by you

Cops see civilians as an ATM for their dept and as a way to advance their career All they have to do is catch you doing something illegal Which with all the laws we have now isn't hard to do.

Keep a low profile. You won't win any pissing contest on the side of the road They will just make you the next Rodney king of Jonathan Ayres Or like that kid on his motorcycle
He way they treated The kid with the camera on his helmet shows that Cops are in general very vengeful Once you piss em off you will be lucky to live thru it


Oh BTW. What do you LEOs think of the cops that shot up the newspaper delivery women?

Once you used Rodney King as your example of an upstanding citizen that was brutalized by police you lost all respect and don't deserve to be heard. Your bias has clouded your good judgement.

Rodney King was a thug drug addict who provoked the police and created the situation that he was in.

Are you suggesting I get off my keyboard and do something more.. radical? Not that I would, but this IS a good way to vent. And more productive than phsyical extremes.. where there is the likelihood of well, being arrested.
