Unless you just gotta have a Browning you should consider one of the Hungarian built FEG Hi Power clones from the 90s. Solid guns and all the parts interchange.
I've got one that I may consider trading. It's chambered in 9mm, has the ring hammer, serial number starting "T", and Browning's historian confirms it's from 1971. It's not the best cosmetic example, but it functions flawlessly (firing pin, firing pin spring and recoil spring have all been replaced with genuine Browning parts). Has a custom made IWB holster and several mags. PM me if you're interested.
I know where 3 of them are just west of Atlanta...But the guy is an A-hole and only wants to sell.
