Hello, I was wondering if anyone in the northwest Georgia area or just about anywhere north of Atlanta either needs some coyote management or knows of someone who does. I am equipped with a 20” 6.5 grendel and a night vision scope, but can do night or day if there is a preference. I’m willing to do this free of charge since this is something I’m testing the waters with and am not sure where to go in order to get this experience other than private land to help others. Any help in general would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes, I’ve looked into it, but would prefer to use my AR. All WMAs at least near me don’t have any rifle hunting
Most WMA’s have an open furbearer (bobcat and fox) season until Feb 28th. You’d be limited to daytime if you want to use your Grendel. You’ll need to read the regs carefully to find and confirm.

Pg 43 of the regs, left and right columns.

I’ve been looking into doing exactly this for a few weeks and definitely planning on using this advice, thanks

Oh okay! Thanks so much for showing me that because I had the opposite impression from other various sources

Last time I was scouting out a WMA area for deer hunting before season started I took my 22 for small game. I ended up sneaking in on a pack of hogs and took out a big 120 lb sow. Wasn't fun dragging it to the truck though, looking back now I should have shot the little piglets instead. Would have been easier to carry, clean, & cook in my rotisserie.
