Wasp Spray ... for self defense? and I never gave it a thought, lol.

My
dil 's sister keeps a can of bear spray on the front seat of her car at all times .

X2 on the bear spray. I used it on my neighbors dogs when they decided to come tear up my flower garden.
A good 20 ft spray easy, and no potential lawsuit either.

Gotta tel ya........retired 30 yrs with ma bell. the wasp spray works GREAT on dogs. Had a big shepard stopped in his tracks, from a dead run, changed his mind, didn't want to see me or bite me either.

I was wondering if I was the only one that kept that out on the garage when I was out there. Not the only thing with me though.

Well, my dad taught me to use whatever means necessary to get the job done, be it defense or offense. No two situations are ever exactly the same, and you do not always have your personal choice of weaponry. In short terms, whatever I can get to is going to be used; be it my firearm, knife, wasp spray, carb cleaner or a danged frying pan.

BTW, I too have gotten carb cleaner in the eyes and can tell you for a fact, it isn't something you want to test on yourself or a pet. lol

As for my personal home defense, ... if ya enter my home uninvited you "may" leave with a whole new understanding of Swiss cheese. That is if you don't become part of the decor, in some way. ;)

Really???

Yes really. First I have to ask the question, have you actually tried to spray a can of carb cleaner, PBlaster, bug spray without looking at the nozzle to see what direction its pointed? I look every time and even then it doesn't go where I want it some times. Factor that in with high stress situation which affects fine motor skills and you are basically worst off with the bug spray then without. While you are looking to see which direction the nozzle is facing the perp is assaulting you.

Yes I have and its not that hard and the wasp spray has a big horn type nozzle on it so its kinda hard to spray it the wrong way so that being said maby you should practice spraying to improve your accuracy LOL
