Watch-It on CZ Pistols!

My phantom has around 1k through it without issue. I dry fire at home a good bit sometimes with snap cap some without. The only issue I have with it is trigger pin walking out after about 100 rounds. I still love it and trust it. Hopefully I won’t experience the same problem

Remember the cigarette ads showing glamorous movie stars and sports figures smoking? Did you know that most only smoked for the danged commercial (and the wad of money they were paid to do it)!?

IMHO: CZ is being VERY deceptive with their promo video showing factory tests using automated machines (supposedly) "Dry-Firing" thousands of times their exposed hammer pistols WITHOUT MENTIONING THE NEED FOR SNAP-CAPS.

Begs the question: "What else are they hiding from me?"

Maybe just buy something else like a Glock or Sig, they never have issues or attempts to hide said issues.....lol.

This is not a RANT against CZ Pistols or ODT members who love them: I too like they way they shoot.
I just believe that "Full Disclosure" is not an option, but a necessity when offering a firearm for sale (new or otherwise)! It's my opinion, and I am sticking with it!

Some of you may have noticed that I often give too much information in my For Sale/Trade Postings ..
Well, that is what I do as I try to treat people the same way I would like to be treated myself.

Well, regarding my post on my CZ, knowledge is power ... it's nice to know that it is a problem that can be "serviced" in 5 minutes. Apparently, not a big deal ... Plenty of time to do so while an attacker reloads and starts shooting again. (I wanted to say: Plenty of time to do so while the intruder "services" your wife and daughter .... but that would just be too insensitive and likely politically incorrect ... So, forgive me for even thinking of such!)

As for me, paranoid as I am: I will make Da*ned Sure that my CZ is never dry-fired without a Snap-Cap in the chamber! Meanwhile, my particular firearm is at CZ being "serviced" under warranty ... Hopefuly, I will see it once again in a month or two!

To All: Stay Safe, and Please accept my sincere thanks for the feedback!
