The SHORT act will delete the taxation, registration, and regulation in the NFA of firearms currently classified as Short-Barreled Rifles, Short-Barreled Shotguns, and Any Other Weapons. It does not affect the NFA's machine gun section.

I'd avoid sending this catastrophe back to the House at all costs. The HPA snuck through after SHORT was stripped. Adding it back will probably torpedo both.
Gotta get past the orange, lifelong democrat (until recently), anti-gunner in the White House.
He's the one who wants the NFA reforms. I would be way more worried about RINOs like Collins and Cornyn.
I still believe there's a lot of things that could kill this.
What Trump says and what he does are often two different things.
