The saddest thing about this is that not a single Democrat was willing to cross party lines to do something good for this country.

Seems to that the Democrats are just digging themselves a much deeper hole daily. It probably will fall in on them and end their Democracy.

At this point, I would just take repealing the Hughes Amendment. THAT would bring machine gun prices down big time.

I've said this before but I would bet that there are guys supposedly on our side who either have big Pre 86 collections or are dealers who would lobby hard against repealing Hughes. They stand to lose way too much. There's a LOT of folks out there that can't or just won't look past themselves and their own selfish desires.

I doubt that. Tens of thousands isn't even pocket money to an American politician anymore. They wont even think about screwing the average American over until it gets into the 100's of thousands.
