We got ‘til 1am on the HPA/SHORT Act🚨

And that's per gun.
That is also correct. I still remember when I joined here, there was a guy on ODT selling a full-auto Uzi for $8,000. That thing is easily worth 2-3 times that now.

I kick myself for not getting it when I could, though of course I a) couldn't afford it and b) would have had to wait eons for ATF approval.

Yeah. Don’t think Vance or Grassley have the stones to do it . Sad that a biased appointed Dem can have that much power/ control . More powerful than our elected representatives ! Think about that!

One member on here would lose close to a million .
Any “members here” won’t lose anything.
They only collect the tax they don’t get to keep it.

If passed they will likely sell more pin the short run, and eventually the market will saturate and stabilize.

I don’t see how any one will just “loose millions”.

The OP of the "lose millions" was, I believe, referring to an undisclosed ODT'er who has machine guns specifically (but could just as well have suppressors and other Class 3 weapons). Given that most machine guns run in the tens of thousands of dollars each, this would not be surprising.

I'm grateful I'm only out $400 so far and that I put my newest suppressor on layaway in case this does pass and become law in a reasonable timeframe. I'm afraid even with the tax stamp being lifted, there'll be a run on suppressor purchases that will back up ATF wait times.

But they only collect and pass on the tax.
In itself that will not cause the price to go down. And they will still manufacture their own products.
