We got ‘til 1am on the HPA/SHORT Act🚨

it is not hard to understand that the people who cant understand "shall not be infringed" cant wrap their brain around a document that starts with ""We the People of the United States". is meant for only the citizens of the United states...
People that are not citizens dont seem to give a **** about our laws

The SCOTUS basis for the NFA being constitutional was the simple fact the NFA is/was a tax. That tax is now deleted from US code. The goal now is to sue and have the NFA ruled unconstitutional since the basis for it being legal under the Constitution is now gone.

The problem with this though, the courts will just refuse to take the case thus allowing the NFA to stand with an unconstitutional zero dollar tax.
Although the court method might work, we shouldn't depend on it. The real problem is that Congress wouldn't vote to repeal it. Republican control hasn't made any difference.

90% of the people bitching in this thread about “muh republicans failed me” will be standing in line in a week or two waiting to proudly show their weapons permit to buy that tax free registered can/sbr.

ODT Sunshine Patriots….. :pound:
They ain't bitchin'. They're thrilled. 🤮

Sounds like a big fundraiser event for the NRA and GOA. Just one more dollar and we can take it to the supreme Court. We're this close to winning guys, just one more dollar.
Sorry, but anyone waiting for the R side of the uniparty to be our 2A saviors will be waiting a looooooong time...

now that the money is gone.. they may way( i think its weigh but its the odt so it OK) the value.. if they are not getting money for suppressors and sbrs... why keep doing the paper work?

Yes I don’t have a lot of faith the the GOP or the Courts will help with the legal challenge that GOA is initiating but we still need to bomb them with letters and e-mails when the matter falls again to the legislative branch. It’s this kind of pressure that helps move the needle.

As much as I hate the way it went, the Parliamentarian was actually right by parliamentary procedure.
I think this may be the one thing we agree on. I don’t think anyone wants to admit that she was right, but she was and, the fact is, people seem to overlook that she actually struck down parts of Biden’s bill a few years back. Yes, she is a Democrat, but she also has a job to do to try to be as impartial as possible. Do I think she is? I don’t know, but I respect her for standing by Parliamentary procedure.

Honestly, I feel like whoever is the parliamentarian should not have their political leanings disclosed and should be as non-biased as possible. I realize that’s a pipe dream, but still.
