So, you got your ammo and your provisions. Do you stay at home or do you run to the hills? Do yo have enough ammo that you can kill something every day for the rest of your life to eat? Did you remember to bring oil for those firearms that will tend to rust? How much can you carry? Will your sanity slip away from the lack of nicotine because you didn't stock up on cigarettes? Do you think things will continue on the same today as tomorrow and the day after from here on out?

Who has the answers? If you think you do please share your ideas with the rest of us. Because, to be honest in a real TEOTWAWKI I think we are all ****ed. There will be so much looting, pillaging and murder that no one is going to make it out alive.

WithOUT TEOTWAWKI, we're all ****ed any way.

Stocked pretty well, but always need more. Have exrta breakfree but will use fat from kills for rust prevention as well. Have extra propane for gas grill/camp stove but have firewood and trees. Live near a lake and have filters.

All my stocked food/water/supplies are to get me through a transition phase to self-sufficiency. I really do need to get more hands on practice with primitive living though.

You can prep all you want, but if your not connected with an organized community your just a prize to be picked.

Good point.

Supplies are important, but skills are much more important. You need enough supplies to survive long enough to become self sustaining and protect what you create. A seed and a round of ammo are equally important.
