I was perusing Craigslist yesterday and came across a free Weber Genesis II with tank down the street from me. It said it needed a good cleaning.

I have a Spirit 2 2-burner already but this thing is MINT and Awesome👌

Go Webers web page and sign up and register it. Plug in the serial number and you'll see how old it is. They have great customer service and a good warranty in case you need it.

Thanks. I will. Only issue have is the igniter and I ordered one after checking and cleaning the lines after a battery change

I just registered it along with my Spirit that I forgot to do years ago. For 2 of us, the Spirit is alright, but the Genesis is on another level. I couldn't fathom a Summit.

I purchased a Genesis back in the early 90s for my Dad when I was in leave from the Army. Besides replacing the flavor bars and grates, it's still kicking.

I am on my second Genesis. I gave my old one to my sister and it's still in use. Mine doesn't get used much since I got a RecTeq. I still use it when I roast oysters and when I want to rotisserie anything. They are great grills. I've replaced the flavor bars and grates. I bought aftermarket cast iron grates. I had to grind a couple of tabs off to make them fit but for the amount of money I saved it was well worth the effort.

I bought this one a few yrs ago and have never opened the box. I think it was around $1400 maybe a little more with tax. I would be willing to make someone a deal if interested. I would maybe do $1000 cash

I watched and read about the sear section, which seems like a good idea but you should already know the high heat. Looks nice 👌
