Looking for website design for a gun business. Could be done 1 of two ways. FFL holder that is using a template website for their gun shop, but needs a separate website for their own manufactured products. Or a website that encompasses both the gun shop and the branded products. Any insights, input, services needed.

Template website essentially links to distributors and allows drop shipping to the shop and it has very little to no customization past that functionality.

I don’t have any specific recommendations for your situation, but here are a few tidbits that may help.

If you can find a gun-friendly website platform, that handles all of the tech updates (think SquareSpace/Shopify/etc, although I don’t know if they are gun-friendly), that will be easier to get up and running, & maintained, than having someone build a fully custom platform on Wordpress or similar, where you or your developer will have to keep up with updates, security, etc.

Secondly, if you see another gun-industry shopping site that you like, you can try this to see what platform they are using: In Google Chrome, right click on the page & select “Inspect”. A panel with the source code will open up, & you can skim through the code to find clues as to the platform (like where it’s pulling the shopping cart data from). “View Page Source” will also allow you to check that stuff, but I think “Inspect” is easier.

Here's another one: reformationdigital.net

This guy is a pastor friend of mine and he's been doing it for over 20 years. His phone number is on his website.
