Time to get a new weed whacker, any suggestions on something that will be very reliable? Prefer 4 cycle just so don't gotta fool with the mixing ordeal. Something that's easy to start also, my last Troy built was a pain in the dick to start somedays. Thanks fellas!

I have a craftsman. It's one of the ones where you can swap attachments. It's 2 cycle though. I like that it uses pre cut cord that you insert because I hate the bump feed kind.

I have been using it for clearing stuff way thicker than its designed for and it keeps trucking along perfectly. It has a thing that you can hook it to a power drill and it will start it without having to pull the cord.

Spend the money on a stihl you will never have to buy another if you take care of it.... I dont know that they make a 4 stroke though

it don't matter what you buy this gas we got these days just eats the gas lines and messes the carbs up but a least you can find some one to work on a stihl the rest is just trough a ways

Yes... The 4 stokes have oiling issues if you use them in any position other than the motor parallel with the ground.

Didn't know that. Current whacker is 2 cycle but my blower is 4 cycle so I just figured it would be more convenient to use same gas for all.
