Went Striper fishing for the first time.

They run to the dam at oconee starting first of March thru about mid April to spawn like they go upriver. because they back pump out of Sinclair
In the mid 80s all I done was striped/hybrid troll during those 6 weeks back then it as mostly hybrids we used 1/8 once Hal flys with a medium shiner on open face reels with good drags with 8# line.and we would catch a two man limit of 12 trolling (. Limit was 6)Usually the fish would average 5-8#.I did catch a 22# striper and a 24# cat during those years.sometimes they would be 50 boats trolling along the barrells.
