Stores are still filling up and selling out. There are still a lot more out there who are still willing to buy but, are having trouble finding the supply. And even more out there willing to capitalize on that.

Realize that almost every AR in the country was sold out in 4 days, mags and ammo the same way. No one was prepared for the onslaught that followed Friday's event. Stores are not filling up and selling out, guns are trickling in so yea you ain't gonna find anything in stock but production has been ramped up for sure and rifles will start to come in.

Everyone in the industry expected it and was already at full production. It just came 4 weeks late.

What happens in 3-4 weeks when all these guns shops that have placed HUGE order for more guns get them all in and everyone is broke because they blew through there credit cards on a $1200 mini 14?

This is the most likely scenario. I'm sure the supplier's have seen this before and will respond accordingly, it will be bad for the people who overpayed for their items and now expect to get a return on the $100 Pmags they bought. On a positive note it may have saved a small business or a manufacturer with a quick boost of cash flow.

I wonder if the people who have no problem with price gouging of guns felt the same way when gasoline was being price gouged several years ago. Because I remember a whole bunch of people making a big fuss about that.

The VP's policy group findings are not due until the last day of January, then they will have to do a bit of back and forth because the House is still 75% pro gun, so at least March IF anything does happen.
