I finally did an inventory of my ammo so now I know exactly what I have and what I need. I also split it up and transferred a portion of it to another secure storage location. Now it's not all in one spot.

I got a used (as in lightly worn and out of warranty) vest. I figured it is better than nothing and is likely to never be needed God willing.
