I've seen my share of those over the years. I completely understand the reason for the conversion but I don't agree with it. That's like buying a Road King and putting a Gold Wing drivetrain in the frame.I'd take a mint XJS in a heartbeat to drop a 350 cu in/Turbo 350 in it!
If you want a REAL Jag then buy one old enough that you can get the shop manual and maybe a little help and maintain it yourself. If you want a Rover skip all the bull**** made for America models and get a diesel powered Defender.
