I’m sitting here thinking about what guns my son and daughter will get after I pass. Aside from your standard Mosin, Enfield, Garand, Mauser etc. my son will get my Sten MKII. I built it as a pistol but I currently have it in rifle configuration. It uses Indianapolis Ordnance’s striker fired semi auto kit.

I'd love more info on the Sten build, I've been interested in doing one for quite some time.

It was a fun build. The reduced ID receiver and the semi auto kit were both from Indianapolis Ordnance. As long as you have a dremel and a welder you’ll be good to go. You won’t be able to use the original cocking handle or spring either but the kit comes with them.
