What have you reloaded today?

I received my latest order of 250 10mm brass from Mojo Precision on Saturday. I cleaned, sized/decapped, and belled them today. I’ll primer them tomorrow or Wednesday. These will be for my low pressure W231 GSSF rounds, as will my next order of 250 that will be here later this week.

I was little surprised to find 50+ out of them to be small primer brass.

It’s nice using a company that includes extra brass. Even after tossing one that too bulged to fit in my sizing die and six .40 S&W that were mixed in, I still had 262 good pieces in my order of 250.

About 220 rounds of 38sp loaded with Berry's plated 148gr wadcutters and an anemic dose of Win231 - these rounds will stay subsonic thru' my Henry Big Boy X when I slap the can on it that should be out of jail within the next week or so.

I'll chrono a bunch of these so I can do a proper statistical analysis, but I shot 10 of the prototypes and they came in at 985 ft/s +/- 20, which I thought was pretty good considering I loaded them using an in-press powder measure.

If this relatively large batch comes in at the same kind of consistency, I might sort the brass next time to see how much effect that has, but really, if I can churn out ammo that maintains that 2% variation either way, I can't really complain.

235 38 SPL with 158 SWC. Got a couple of times from guys ( Adam5 Adam5 ) for suggestion on expanding the cases further to prevent wrinkled cases. I'm now about 2500 or so rounds reloaded and getting much better. Ammo has been grouping very good for us old guys shooting revolvers with iron sights.

Glad to hear it!

We knocked out 550 .38 Spl with 158gr plated semi wadcutters over 4.3gr of W231, and another 250 10mm 165gr flat points over 6.7gr of W231 on Saturday afternoon.

Just loaded my first 100 45acp. 4.8gr TiteGroup with a Berry plated 230RN bullet. Should be good for target shooting about 800fps according to my book. Did a quick dry cycle/feed check in my DW Guardian as I figured it was the pickiest of the 1911's and all fed smoothly. Now just need time to go shoot some of them.

Up next is 44mag. Anyone used X-Treme 240 plated bullets in this caliber? Since they are the same price as PC bullets figured I would try them.
