Shotgun reloading is about the only thing I haven’t reloaded. It looks interesting.
It is.....There is a little more to it than pistol/rifle (unless your long range rifle and really serious about it...out past 500 yards or so - you can get your field degree in ballistics) The Mec presses are an art unto themselves. If you like to tinker and are meticulous (comes into play more so with sub gauge loads) and very patient through the learning process, you will do well. I'm a little less than a year in it but its been a great ride. No savings in 12ga (other than your nice cushy low recoil loads) but it becomes significant in sub gauges. I'm about 1 month into 28gauge shooting a Remington 1100 on the skeet field and loving it!!

I've got some shotgun reloading stuff that I've collected over the years. I started casting recently and also got some pure lead to cast buckshot (and the Lee buckshot mold). Once I get some cast up (after it warms up enough that I can sit outside for a few hours and not loose appendages) I'll see about making some loads with them.

I haven't loaded shotgun ammo in probably 35 years, I'm sure I'll have questions. :)

New rifle. Loaded some rounds to just run through and break it in. Will start doing real load development soon. Genuinely excited about the cartridge. Wanted one for a long time. I'll keep you posted.
It's a wonderful cartridge!!!
had mine for a few years...actually before it got SAAMI'ed
took it west for a hunt a while back...one shot kills on everything.....now, it just sits.....I hate it!!! I have some load info, if you are interested, however now that it's SAAMI....loading information is everywhere
I think I may have some brass, however, mine shoots 280 ammo(to fire form) as good as it shoots the made for brass....it's just wonderful to shoot!!! you will love yours, I'm sure!!
