What is Acceptable B/C Gap on a Ruger LCR?

FWIW:

To the oft asked question; "What is acceptable B/C clearance in my revolver?

I received an e-mail from Ruger Customer Service this morning. It was in response to a query I sent regarding acceptable barrel-to-cylinder gap. Ruger says anything between .002"-.011" is within specs.

9/1000 ? Quite a few stacking tolerances affect that, seems fair.

The B/C gap on my LCR .357 is closer to the upper limit than to the lower. But the pistol shoots great during target practice, though I've not yet checked chronograph results...

I guess the LCR is kinda like the AK of pistols. Loose tolerances assure reliability in adverse conditions...
