What is the most comfortable carry set up you've found?

most comfortable? for what size/capacity gun? while doing what? with weapon how accessible? those are all give and takes. most confortable would be off body carry, but thats a big hell no for me.

best mix I have found is glock 19 in an armordillo concealment AIWB holster.
or a commander/lightweight/alloy 1911 with thin grips in a crossbreed at 4 oclock

not IWB? most comfortable by far would be the blackpoint tactical OWB

I carry the glock 19, spare mag, and sheath knife, all in appendix. light and folder in my pants pocket.

Several holsters for each gun I own depending on wardrobe choice. Been primarly carrying the XDs.45 for awhile now. Favorite/Most comfortable is The Master's Holsters leather OWB. Also use an inexpensive Foxx Hybrid, a Tagua IWB and the Safari Land. All riding on, yes wait for it.... a Walmart Belt! It's a thick, stiff, leather belt that's stood up to 2 yrs of everyday wearing so far!

yeah this is the "denim fanny pack" I wear inside my pants in front of my junk.

It's my tactical advantage. (.45 auto)

actually quite comfortable, deep cover, kind of back up. You wont be the fastest draw on the block. But well worth the extra effort to bring a cannon when it is time to defend yourself.

With smart carry I can confidently carry anyplace I know I will not be searched. 002.JPG 003.JPG

There is a tiny bulge where the but sticks out about 3 inches below the belt loop. http://www.smartcarry.com/

Im very comfortable all day long with this set up.

It helps to have a Great carry belt that won't sag....this belt has a polycarbonate insert that won't sag and Ive been using it for several months now....it's very stiff and definitely what you want and looks good with any pair of pants.

My holster is a inside the waistband Galco V-Hawk for the 1911 pistol......I can carry my full size 1911 but I feel that my commander size RIA 1911 feels more comfortable all day long.
I carry inside the waistband at the 4:30-5:00 position as I can't conseal anything well at the 3:00 position right at the side of my hip, no way, not comfortable.

The thing I like about this holster in conjunction with a great belt is that it does not have clips, plastic or metal that scratch chairs and car seats when you sit....instead it has leather loops with snaps that stay put Nd won't scratch or snag.

I have been through several holsters and belts and found this rig to be very pleasing for all day carry.
Holster.
