Not every range toy needs to be tier 1 operator equipment. I have an oddball caliber BCA upper range toy/ could take it hunting rig that does just fine for my purposes.

I have to agree. Not everyone can afford a Noveske, LMT or like quality rifle. If it gets him out shooting then that's great. At least he is out there having a good time. That's the important thing when it comes down to it. I think he should step up the quality in a home defense unit but at the range I guess it will keep him practicing if it can hit the target. Most range ammo isn't the most accurate stuff anyway. I know it's a kick to poke fun but ODT can be harsh as hell! Believe me! LOL
