1900 - 1945 American Revolvers and European .32 cal automatics. The .32 ACP and it's primary use in a blowback action, allowed so much variation in design each one is a fascinating. Nothing like it in modern firearms.
Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.
Any period that didn't have loose gunpowder.

Whatever I can afford at the time. Right now it spans 1869 (Remington No. 1 in .43 Spanish) to 1954 (M1 Garand). I do not count M1A's (M14) as mine are not true military, AR-15's as they are not full-auto or Ak's as they also are not full-auto as the true military weapon would have been. Between the dates I have Russian, American, Japanese, Yugo, Chinese, German, French, English, Indian, Australian, Spanish, Peruvian, Egyptian, Israeli, Turk and I am sure I left someone out. So it is anyone that I can afford today!!!!
