What Time to get in the stand?

I already knew the time that The Weather Channel said was sunrise time which is not the same as "shooting light". I am looking for "Shooting Light" time. So can you help with that?? lol

What are you asking? Legal "shooting light" is 30 minutes before sunrise at your location. There is nothing subjective about it. If you are asking when it's actually light enough to see regardless of 'legal' there are way too many variables to answer that. Cloud cover, tree canopy, terrain. Just get in your stand as much in front of 30 minutes before sunrise as you can stand. I'm always late...

I'm in the stand, settled and drinking a cup of coffee at least 45 minutes before daylight. I do this to give the woods time to settle down.

I've noticed that on many occasions the woods are warm until the sun breaks out then it gets cold from evaporation but Im usually on stand an hour or so before first light.

usually try 15 min before daylight but usuallly right at day break.
