What to do if stuck in quick sand- poll

Where's the flail and scream like a little girl that walked into a spider web option?

In lieu of that, I guess I'll lay on my stomach and work my way out.

Not quick sand, but I sunk in mud up to my chest and was immediately stuck. It was on the bank of a tidal river in savannah. Luckily the guy with me made a path out of rip rap rocks and I was able to get out. Was no fun at all, it was like quick sand. The area I was in was under water just a few hours prior. And there were gators in the area.

I read somewhere that if you're stuck in quick sand that you're supposed to piss...a lot. It softens the sand around you...
