Varget gets my vote, verdict is still out on CFE223 but its looking good so far, i shoot 175 smk also in a 308 .. good luck

Varget all day, imr 4064 is also a great one, get some moly powder and moly those bad boys, keep your barrel life, just watch for the "moly ring of death" lol my 2 cents anyway

I use Vetavori 140 (did i spell that correctly). If your gun is capable of shooting dime size groups, most all powders mentioned will work.

Yes sir, vihtavuori is great powder! Very consistent in lapua brass! Haha
