LOL, Sorry Protective Measures here we go again. :thumb:I kid. I kid. But, seriously.

No we don't!!!!

At the end of the day its a personal choice.

If people don't want to listen to top experts in a field or follow the example of leading professionals in law enforcement that's their choice.... doesn't bother me unless they are shooting in my direction.

Dont it work the same way in the military? If you shoot an armed iraqi with an RPG and the bullets kill a little girl behind him.. dont you have to answer for that?

No, but you are going to feel like shyt for the rest of your life. Luckily with any weapon I have used even with FMJs in everything up to and including the .50 BMG. I have never killed or injured someone who was not my intended target. Just lucky I guess. No guarantees in life no matter what you use FMJ or HP you still might miss. Things tend to get a little foggy when bullets are zipping by you and you might not even know if you hit your target until he finally falls over..

Gotcha. I think even with HP ammo it could zip right through. So really its a roll of the dice. Im seen some skinny folks that even a 32 would zip right through.

Well then my apologies and he's getting a scolding. :D

Do it! He deserves it.

I think we have a difference in school of thought. Military kill them VS. LEO stop them but don't kill them or injure anyone else.

Nope....we shoot to stop the threat, i.e.: Kill them. We train two to the chest and one to the head in tactical excercises.

Which is why Feder. agencies & ammo mfrs. spend so much time & money finding the optimum weight, velocity, & construction to AVOID overpenetration in each service caliber.
