So, car battery went 100% completely out, died dead done.. 😂 right after the heating element in my dryer quit working as well.. now, the real only problem is when in the hell did a car battery cost over $250/$300 ?? Has it been really that long since Ive had to replace one...damn.. 😂

$250+ ???!!!
For real ? 😮.
I’m a disabled mechanic and it hasn’t been that damned long since I bought a battery or seen the prices on one , I didn’t think !! There has to be something different about this one….i have not seen a decent battery for a car over $100 unless it’s something special/custom/unique ?!
That is just out of sight expensive !!

That's about the going price. I paid about $300.00 bucks for a new battery last year. I shopped around and they all seemed to be in that price range.

And notice that the days of a "lifetime guarantee" are no longer available with car batteries. Unless you buy a expensive extended warranty.

Why did you note disabled? Just curious. Ide just buy a new car at that point, 250 for a new battery is stupid expensive.

Had two Honda batteries die within three years of being purchased. Got one at O'Reilly for $250. Bought one for my truck at Walmart for $150, but it's not as heavy as the one I replaced. Previous to that ,the
most I have paid was $100.

Just to make the point that I used to work on cars everyday but now I don’t.
I WAS aware of the prices of parts (batteries) but it has been a while since I have bought one for either of our vehicles or for any customers since I don’t work on them everyday anymore.
