I hunted Wisconsin this week and once again the devil mocks my every.step. I had a true 160+” at 27 yards. Too dark to shoot. But the kicker is twice this season I had bucks walk in my steps minutes after I walked past my cell cam. Check the time stamps on these. First one is Georgia the second is Wisconsin. Both weren’t shooters. Check out the size comparison between me and the Wisconsin buck, and thats a baby.

I’ve been at it for over 40+ years, I win an occasional battle but the deer win the war every year.
You have what I call college educated deer. I used to hunt on the old Allatoona WMA. I was on an old logging road were I set up in a tree almost across the road from where I parked. Deer would walk up and look right in the window of the truck. In middle Georgia if they see my truck, they'll blow and you'll never see them. So you have to be much more stealthful in order to score
