Where have I been xds 45...

I've got both glocks/springfields, shield and others... like em all some more than others. Thing about the XDS is you gotta have talon grips on it as being a short barrel compact and chambered in a .45 it can be a bit rough on the hands when shooting 50-100 rounds of 230gr down range but then it's intended use really isn't for range comfort. Have several hundred rounds through it with zero issues and very accurate for it's size. Is it the most comfortable handgun to shoot, NO, is it slim, easy to carry, YES. 7 rounds of .45 in a small compact package that conceals and carries very easy... hard to beat it... for me it's a keeper.

I have the XDM bitone 4.5 9mm as well as the G19 and wouldn't part with either and enjoy shooting both.

You should try out the new G2. Yea the "Grip Zone" is kinda cheesy but it is super comfortable. I had one in the .45 compact and it shot great I just didn't need an inbetween gun. I'd like to get one in the 4" service size.
