Where to learn survival?

You can learn methods and techniques from about anything. Whether it's YouTube or just books. The real trick is perfecting your survival technique and building your skill set. Train, train and train.

Is there anywhere that teaches survival in Georgia? Bushcraft survival.

General survival off the land, or specific techniques, methods, and specific to a region of Georgia? This really is a vast area...the Bush craft Spring festival might be a good event for you to attend to get a general idea. Of course there is the Internet with a ton of (mis)information. As a starting point without knowing more, I would focus on identifying natural food, hunting and fishing, shelter building, and first aid in the woods.

That's why I would recommend attending the spring Bushcraft festival.
There are usually a good many companies and individuals there with a range of teachable skills.
I believe it's a good starting point.
It's all subjective. There are different skills for different situations.
We learned desert survival skills so if you dropped me in the middle of the Amazon I'd probably last about half an hour before I was swallowed by an anaconda.
You can drop me anywhere you want but I know the difference between a 24-ft snake and a root. 🤣

I would start with self learning I would learn what I could eat out of the wild and how to identify
I bought a few books from Tru-Prep to do that very thing and I highly recommend it. Edible plants, medicinal plants, SAS Survival guide. The OP should have those to refer to in his bug out bag or pack. I keep them in ziplock baggies just to keep them dry..Every little thing in your favor can help..
