Which compact 380 has the least recoil?

I have pre-smith Walther PPK and Smith Walther PPK, both shoot great with very little recoil. The Beretta 84 is another 380 that I like to shoot also very little recoil. I may pick up a Berreta 85 to go with the 84, should be a thin carry piece.

+1 on the sig 238.....just picked one up 2weeks ago online brand new for 550 with laser. Popped its cherry bout 75 times last week and it shoots like a dream. Spot on out of the box...barely any recoil at all imho!

I just want to commend you on phrasing your question correctly using "which", and not "what". Excellent.

Ive both the Sig and a Colt Mustang Pocketlite and have been very happy with them. My Wife loves the Sig but does not like the 1911 style safety of the Mustang.

I would be more concerned with an accurate, trouble free firearm then recoil, recoil is quite often perceived. Unless you have really small hands, stature or are a young girl I would not worry so much about "recoil". If that is your problem buy lots of ammo and get used to it.

We (my wife) shot the Kahr P380, LCP, the Bodyguard, and the PPK. We (she) preferred the P238 and that is what she now owns (as do I). She has the CT trigger set up on it and loves it.

Just know, she had no bias. Only what felt best to her.

PS.... I was hoping for the PPK. I think if they can figure out a way to convert it to a locked breach design (vs blowback), it may become a more comfortable shooter. Also, we did not find a P232 to try. I would have liked to see how it stacked up.

For the micro-compacts pocket 380's I would have to say that the MPA Protector 2 and the Micro Eagle were the least violent recoiling 380's I've shot. Both have ported barrels and are metal framed.

The micro eagle that I held had the WORST trigger I have ever felt felt like a 25lb pull
