Which FFL to use to ship to out of state FFL

You don't need an FFL to ship to an out of state FFL. You can do it yourself. Rifles and shotguns can be shipped USPS. Handguns FedEx 2nd day air. Or UPS

Correct. However, some dealers will not accept transfers from individuals so it is important to get this information prior to shipping. It can also become a royal PITA to ship guns through a contract carrier as per law you MUST notify them there is a gun in the box and most will not accept the liability of dealing with an individual. Also, FFL dealers have the ability to ship handguns to another FFL dealer via priority mail using USPS which is MUCH cheaper than using UPS or FedEx 2 day air.

Does the priority mail option apply to C&R licensee's as well? Or just class 01 FFL's?. If it does apply, it's another good reason to spend $30.00 on a C&R! $10 per year for some very affordable shipping.
