Which handgun do I need? Yea I know classic Newb Question

Last one in 9mm I had went for $300. Stainless slide, box and 2 mags. Like new. I would imagine the 40s&w would be right in line with that as far as price. May be more difficult to move here on ODT because of the stigmata on the .40s&w caliber.

A couple of things to consider.

1. What did you originally purchase the handgun for?
2. Do you intend to carry it everyday?
3. Are you willing to take the time and the expense to learn how to use a handgun efficiently?
4. What is your end state goal for owning a handgun?

If you can answer those you might me able to find the result that best suites your needs.

If you have an SW40V as I suspect, then there is no wonder you are having issues. If not, what handgun are you having trouble with? Either way, you should really seek out an instructor in your area who is willing to spend time helping you helping you learn trigger control via dry fire drills before you begin to carry IWB. Or you can do like most here at the ODT do and spend hours watching Youtube videos. Then you will be an instructor also.Please take this as seriously as you can so you do not injure or kill yourself or anyone else.
