I'm wanting to get a can for my AR15. I'm at the crossroads right now on which to buy. Serviceable or nonserviceable and direct thread or quick disconnect. My main concern is keeping the weight down on the end of the barrel 16" and minimal shift in the point of impact. Is there a serviceable can that's not that heavy on the end. Should I even worry about that since I'm not shooting 22lr through this can. This can will be used on 1 gun so do I need a quick disconnect. Help me out here guys what do you think....

Most rifle cans are not serviceable. Might be one out there that is but I forget which one. Reason being the high pressures of rifle calibers keep it clean and they are sealed for durable.

If the Constitution felt heavy, then you'll probably want something at 1lb or under. So it will have to be something Titanium like the Gemtechs, YHM, or Sigs, but then you will limited by your rate of fire. Or get a smaller can - something from Griffin or the Mini Grunt from Innovative Arms (I have one, and it's a great little can). Since it's only going on the one rifle, then I'd go with a small, direct thread can like the Mini Grunt or GA Spartan 3. It'll also be cheaper.

Another question to ask is are you going to be doing a lot of mag dumps. If not, I might suggest a Harvester/Omega for light weigh even though they are 30 cal cans. I use a Harvester on both my 223 and 308 AR's and it works well. I hunt with the 308 mainly and change out the mount so I can shoot 223 without ears.
