White cverspray on black paint?

How best to remove this? We paint a lot of steel at the club and I've gotten some overspray, like a finely misted overspray, of white paint on my black car.

I was thinking of using a clay bar based on the recommendation of a buddy to see if it'd remove the tiny white spots then wax with a decent car wax. It's been three years since I last waxed the car.

A bit depends on the type of paint was being sprayed. If it's relatively recent latex paint, a rag with some diluted ammonia on it will soften the overspray and you can wipe it off (experiment on the paintwork of your car first in a discreet location if you don't have clearkote treatment)

If your car isn't white, use a clean white cloth when you do that test and you'll see if any of the car paint color is coming off.

Clay bar is a good idea.

I've had good results using WD40 to remove tar and other items from car paint. Not fast but I think it also pretty easy on the paint.

Paint is high solid content steel target spray paint or Rustoleum primer and paint (white). Enamel I'm sure.

I may try something with Zippo Lighter Fluid or Goo Gone. I think acetone is too much as it will leave a "bare" area where I can see the old wax is removed.

Yeah, if it's something like Rustoleum, I doubt ammonia will do anything. Goof Off might work - again, check a discreet area of car finish first.

Goo gone and goof off (any solvent) really works great. Will even even out /remove small scratches. Obviously it removes and moves some of the car paint though.

Also, can't believe you spray painted your' car. Lol.

Just not paying close attention to the wind I guess. That's a self correcting error.

Easiest way is to go over the area with a fine mist of black spray paint
