At this juncture in my life I'm not looking for a really heavy relationship. I was thinking there may be a single woman around my age in the area that just would like to have a friend. Someone who's always alone that she can be with when she's alone and doesn't want to be. Kind of a benefit for both. Like I said I'm not looking for a deep committed relationship but if it happens to happen over the course of time then so be it. I'm not above declining gifts from God, which is the way it would have to be at my age anyway.
I'm not looking for some younger idiot that just hasn't seen enough to know how stuff works in the long run. These younger women don't know what true love is. All that mushy crap you feel at the beginning of the relationship doesn't last. The newness and excitement eventually wears off. It's when they begin to hate their spouses habits and personality flaws is when true love kicks in. What they or you do after that point determines whether you will love and be loved are you will hate and be hated.
I made some massive mistakes in that marriage and so did she. But I knew it was my problems were the problem was with her is she didn't see what she was doing wrong. She does now but it's too late. Sheis Irish and once hate sets they never let go of it. If they could there wouldn't be an IRA.
