Just the stuff over 2 hours from here. Thanks to all that offered. He had to sit it out yesterday. He doesn't get to hunt on the regular with his job. I found some 150gr close by but would require a sighting in.

Just click your scope based on the ballistic tables. 150 gr. CL will be within a click or two of the stuff you're wanting. 2 shots max and you're locked.

That's almost verbatim what I told him to do, but he wasn't comfortable with it ethically.

Unexcusable... How long did he look?? 5 minutes or at least as long as he sat in the stand hunting. Yeah it can and does happen but twice in a week?? Damn.

I just call it an unbelieveable case of bad luck -- the coyotes must have been bedded under his stand waiting for the shot. And the bad luck continues -- not realizing he fired his last round after watching the second deer disappear into the woods....

Wish I had some 30-06 -- but I'm a 7mm man. He'd have a better luck dating a Playboy Bunny than finding 30-06 ammo at the LGS....
