whole Tloins are good.
Whole foods has dry aged steaks.

i havent tried the dry aged steaks or really looked at them. I had one in ny and it was great. Whats the price difference on the filets?

Appalachian Grill in Cartersville has best filets. Better than Ruth's Chris, and 1/4 the price. You can cut them with a fork and they melt in your mouth. Entire meal there is awesome. I HIGHLY recommend them, and I've had filets at several different Ruth's Chris locations.

If you are in Athens area try "The Last Resort" ....great steak and awesome Vidalia Bacon salad. Also try "Chops n Hops" in Watkinsville...they have a great Filet and awesome selection of draft beer. Try the chipotle-soy wings for an appetizer or the Chicken Risotto in mushroom cream sauce if not in a steak mood.

The whole secret for a great steak is to serve it hot enough to melt the mayo when you spread it over the top of the steak.

Depends on who's cooking it and the meat. I've had great and bad steak at the same location. I've had better steak at Outback than Bones. So depends on who's beating that meat and cooking it.

That's pretty bad. Outback's steaks are an abomination that isn't fit to be fed to dogs. I've never had a steak from Outback that was even decent, much less good.
