Yeah it's. A pain that they can sell your mortgage and change everything on you. That and the fact there's noting you cant do about it.

All banks can sell you mortgage, or for that fact anyone you have a loan with can sell it.
BOA Sun-trust both have done some crazy crap with my loans and checking account.

I don't like either.
I'm not a FSU Florida State University Credit Union fan, but I've had accounts with them for 15 years and they are great, call them up and they transfer money, move money or whatever I need right over the phone.

IBM is not o bad either, I have account there and they are pretty good

Well if you listen to Clark Howard then you're either and her of a credit union or a small local bank.
Bank of America is THE worst. My wife cut hair for about 20 years and over the last10 of them every bad check came from BoA.

Oh and the harassment factor! If you take a check to them from THEIR customers they want a thumb print and SIX ****ING DOLLARS to cash it!!! And the whole time they're asking you to open an account. **** them!

Been with Bank of America since I was old enough to have an account. I love them and have never had any problems, they give me free checks... Extra 25% on my Bank of America credit card rewards, you can withdrawal / deposit and do all functions at the ATM.. They have so many branches all over the place if I'm in a different neck of woods I don't have to be charged for withdrawing from An ATM.
Can't say a bad word about them, what's so great about small credit union banks?

I have four accounts with BOA, three personal and one business account. They now want $25 a month maintenance fee. I'm going into the Suwanee branch on Monday and closing all four. Withdrawing all in cash and will be looking into credit unions.

As an aside, 7 years ago a business partner embezzled 15K from one account with 7 stolen and forged company checks. I had to fill out 7 affidavits, one for each check and the local branch refused to provide me with copies of the seven affidavits. Needless to say after threatening to close all accounts I got my copies. 7 frigging copies, all because they can't read a signature in the first place.

Being anti-gun I am fine w/. Don't like it, but that is a freedom that we can enjoy in America. But, do they actually financially support anti gun groups? That's where I draw the line.
