Who is the expert on ham radios? Baofeng question

Anyone have a CHIRP file for Georgia they'd share?

There are a couple here, but keep in mind these look to be amateur radio codeplugs, so unless you are licensed, don’t transmit on them.

I can’t recommend a boafang radio. There are plenty of cheap options that are way better. I suggest getting your license. If a real emergency happens do you think you will have a clue how to use the radio if it is your first time? It only takes a few nights of study to pass and get your tech license. Plus you will get a super cool call sign lol. Ham Radio Outlet here in Atlanta is a good place to start.

Sorry for slow reply LOL -- I've been a ham for a long time. Just got away from it because I was tired of infighting amongst clubs in a state I lived in prior. Burned me out on it. Picked up a UV5r just to listen in and see if I'd have the same drama here or not before I decided to get in again. - KC5LVN
