There are so many different styles of whiskey that having one favorite is not possible for me.
Irish = Michael Collins double distilled my regular drink, either neat or half a splash of water.

Bourbon = Hard to say I don't know that I have a favorite. Woodford is very good, Makers Mark very easy to drink. The whiskies of the Kentucky Bourbon Circle are all great with Booker being my favorite of the bunch. Bottled straight from the barrel at over 121 proof. A little more than a splash of water may be needed. The great thing is you can tailor it to your taste that way.

.Scotch = If made to choose a favorite single malt I would go with The Dalmore a Highland. Choosing a blend is easy Johnnie Walker either Green or Blue. ( I suspect stairs were involved if you got Blue for helping to move someone.)

Canadian =Crown Royal .

All of these are straight drinking maybe over ice choices. For cocktails I will usually go for what ever the bartender has in the well. That would not hold true for Jack And Coke. That is not something I drink but the flavor of Jack is distinctive and necessary for that drink.
