I'm looking at a new model 25 savage and a used a-bolt medallion both in 22 hornet. Just curious of other peoples luck with the hornet in various guns.

Who makes the best 22 hornet

I currently own a CZ 527 Lux .22 Hornet. In the past I had a Ruger 1 and a 77 Sporter, could not of committed suicide with either gun. The Browning was available in two versions, one was plain and the other slightly nicer, both tend to shoot well. The old Savage 340 series were also very accurate guns, though plain looking and inexpensively built. The new Savage gets good reviews.
Why the hornet over a 223? Just curious because everything I think of getting one I just end up deciding 223 does everything it can.
Browning low wall with a 2x7 Leupold, go to gun for anything around the farm smaller than a deer but might need more killing than a .22lr. Low recoil, low noise, never misses.
Got one in a 10" TC Contender, which I love, but I've been wanting one in a rifle platform.
Found a mint micro medallion hornet and man does it shoot! It is also very quiet, I found a box of federal 30gr hp ammo it's gettin 3125fps from my gun and shoots clover leafs at 60 yards. That's as far as I can get at home from the bedroom window. Looks like the browning is a winner , small , quiet ,accurate and will do all I need done out to 200 yards.
