This is a whole house water filter...showers and all....everything. I had a part break and they sent me a new one and I subsequently decided to upgrade to a different system. This think works incredibly well. We gag at the smell of the chlorine in the water when we unhooked it for the new part. It gives you bottled water quality water from the tap. I'm sure it still has a lot of life left in it as it was working great when I had to disconnect it for the new part. It's easy to install if you have some basic plumbing knowledge. Comes with both tanks and a new prefilter. You might have to get a couple of new fittings at HD but it shouldn't be a big deal to install..and it's free. Must pick up in Dunwoody at my house...it's heavy..hand truck recommended.

I would come and get it but I'm way too far. But I do have a question for you. What's the new system you upgraded to? I'm currently looking for a new set up. Just curious to find ones I haven't learned about before.

I ordered the same system but in the 1 million gallon format. These things work great, worth every penny if you don't like drinking poison from the tap.
