who's been to Germany?

Just got back from a week in Nuremberg for work.

There's a lot of awesome meat and potatoes, my favorites were the brats and pork shoulder cuts. That being said, you'll want to eat vegetables for a week at the end of it.

The beer is awesome, especially if they make it in town. If you do want water, the "gas" water is the bubbly mineral water and no gas is usually expensive bottled water. Be prepared to pay for it.. Or just drink the beer instead!

Old towns are pretty awesome if you like history. I'd recommend reading up on the area you'll be in as there's usually plenty you can look up over the course of a trip.

HA! So they still do the "trinkvasser"! LOL! Harsh man,

Do NOT limit yourself to just a few big cities, ie Berlin, Munich. Travel by train to Rotenburg, Wurzburg, Mittenwald and Oberammergau. Enjoy the local bier brewed in that area at the Gast-Haus, Hotel. Book your overnite rooms there as well. Have a great time.
