Why aren't guns selling?

I’ve bought 4 in last four days on here that were decent prices, three from one man, bought two off gunbroker both at good prices. Money is tight for most people these days and not getting better fast. Don’t see how some of younger folks make it with house payment and car payments. I don’t have either and it still takes a chunk for insurance and taxes every year.

Love to read all the market experts' opinions about used merchandise pricing on this site. Most sound like whiny, crybaby poors who never had anything and won't ever have anything, because.....they choose to remain poor.

Are there guns priced too high here? Compared to what? Newly produced of the same model? Maybe so.

Is the gun collectible or desirable beyond your Glock 17 collection's? Maybe so. Could it take some time before the right buyer sees the ad? Maybe so.

Could it also be just barely possible that you aren't the expert you think you are? You know so much about all firearms and market conditions, condition grading and recent auction prices that you are the ODT authority on pricing models? Like what, the ODT Price Militant? I doubt you are as smart as they were when they were active here.

Can you PM me with a direct link to your "Hi-Point with extras (unicorn)" for sale? Having trouble with search. :)

Nice try but stick to "building" ARs.
I can whine all I want because I still buy guns. It goes much deeper than price. Sellers are even to lazy to box one up and drop it off at the shipper at the buyers expense. They don't want to put any effort into the sale. I can't count the number of times I have seen a used gun for sale for 25 bucks less than Buds Gun Shop new price that ships free. Then say I'm not driving at this price. It's a combination of factors as to why they aren't selling. It doesn't take a degree in economics to decipher the issue.

There has been a number of great deals in the last week or so here and I have even remarked in the ad about it..

There are still good deals on ODT, people just need to be more patient. This is what the old timers told me 10yrs ago, when I joined ODT. But, the best deals were at the ODT show on the 17th May. plus Pawn Shops are giving you as much time as you need to payoff your lay aways these day's.
