Hey y’all, first of all I don’t know squat about jewelry but my wife wants to get a gold chain to replace one we had to sell 5 or 6 years ago. I know I don’t want to go to some big chain jewelry store where I’ll basically get screwed, she inherited a little bit of money last year when her mom passed and her and five sisters split the sale of her mom’s house. She’s been through hell with her health the last 22 years and she deserves to have this one piece of jewelry. It’s the only thing she’s wanted for herself, she’s using the rest on Christmas and birthday gifts for friends and family.
Anyway, does anybody know of anybody or anyplace in or close to the Newnan/Coweta area my wife can get the best bang for her buck on a gold chain? She’s one of those women who was taught from a young age how to stretch a dollar enough to make Ol’ George holler out in pain! I got ripped off buying her a chain once in the 80’s, it was supposed to be a 14k solid gold chain that turned out to be just 10k and gold “plated.” Don’t want that happening again.
